Great Day Press was founded in 2008 for the publication of Loyal Sons: The Story of The Four Horsemen and Notre Dame Football’s 1924 Champions by Jim Lefebvre. Both Loyal Sons and the 2013 title Coach For A Nation: The Life and Times of Knute Rockne, were chosen as Bronze Medal winners in the Sports/Recreation/Fitness category of the Independent Publisher Book Awards — the IPPYs, the highest honor in small-press publishing.
